Happy B-Corp Month! Hope you are all doing well and enjoying the improving weather this month. I LOVE the spring and the freshness it brings in both our physical environment and maybe also our perspectives. This month was B-Corp month. For those of you unaware of B-Corp, it is a certification process that ensures businesses can prove their commitment towards balancing people and planet with profit. In honour of B-Corp month, The Future Leap team would like to offer you this recording of one of our B-Corp themed events. We are also very excited to launch our new co-working/membership package. In brief, when signing up for co-working at the Future Leap hub, you are automatically also entitled to Network membership. This ensures a greater offer for all parties, bringing together the exciting conversations and networking opportunities happening in our Hub, into our events space and vice versa. Other exciting changes… I am delighted to welcome Lauren Fields to the team. Lauren is our Business Community Coordinator and will take on a lot of the responsibilities that Tatum carried out; supporting our Network members to ensure they receive an excellent service. Lauren studied Ecological Design Thinking at Schumacher College where she developed the skills to facilitate conversations around systems thinking through a holistic framework. Whilst there she studied with the likes of Kate Raworth, a leader in the field of circular economy. She has since worked for FairAir, a green technology company in London who are developing hydrogen fuel cells and she is continuously growing her network in the field of sustainability.
