I hope you are all well and have been enjoying the (intermittent) sunshine! All is well with the Future Leap team, busy as always, with lots to update you on.

Our doors are officially open at the Clifton Hub and we can’t wait to welcome you to our new space. A lot of the team will be based there to help welcome you so please do pop in for a tour. Not only can you sign up for a free tour and trial day, Future Leap Network members and co-workers are entitled to 20% off meeting rooms and day passes. An offer too good to miss!

Speaking of welcomes, we are delighted to welcome Dan Proctor to the team as Director of Future Leap Finance. Dan will head up Future Leap Finance which aims to provide the right facilities for our customers to invest in assets, but importantly to provide ongoing reporting to both the customer and the lender on the impact that the investment has made from a sustainability perspective. This unique solution provides essential data that can be measured allowing customers and lenders to report effectively. This really feels like the missing piece in our Future Leap jigsaw and I am delighted that we will be able to offer this service to our network of changemakers. It is great to have you on board Dan!

And activities for the Festival of Sustainable Business are ramping up too. Since the last time of writing, we have launched our Festival promotional film about the importance of collaboration. Also, various Future Leap team members and sustainability experts have met to judge the sustainable business awards. Indeed, this week we are delighted to announce the finalists and look forward to welcoming them at our Gala Dinner on 16th June when the winners will be announced.

The categories were for the Natural Environment, Communicating the Climate and Ecological Emergency, Reduction of Waste and Consumption, Sustainable Buildings, and Sustainable Travel and Transport. Other than that, the team continue to deliver the usual excellent activities for the Network; facilitating some really interesting events and welcoming new and renewing Network members, ensuring that all members tap into our community of changemakers.
