Introducing Future Leap Finance at this year’s Festival of Sustainable Business Exhibition

Well, this is it! Part 2 of our 3-part Festival of Sustainable Business takes place this evening! We are delighted that this year, in addition to a sustainably-sourced gala dinner, we will be facilitating the city’s inaugural sustainable business awards. The business awards are one of Bristol’s One City goals and in my capacity as Environment Board member, I offered our support in achieving against Goal 43. The Future Leap team have come up trumps and organised what looks set to be an evening of informative presentations, valuable networking, delicious food and drink, inspiring keynote speakers and fun celebrations. The winners of the awards will be announced in the coming days. For now, congratulations to all finalists and best of luck!

The team here at Future Leap have been working to support both businesses and individuals in progressing their sustainability for over a decade. We are thrilled to announce that we are now able to provide a new and invaluable set of tools to assist organisations with affordability and investment support.

Future Leap Finance Ltd is led by Dan Proctor, with over 25 years’ experience in providing financial services to businesses across the UK. Read more about this incredibly exciting development in our blog post this month. Dan will be available to discuss ways in which Future Leap Finance may assist you and your organisation at the Festival of Sustainable Business Exhibition.

We also supported the One City Environment Board last week when they held their quarterly board meeting at our new carbon neutral hub in Clifton. Board members were treated to a sustainably-sourced lunch and tour of the co-working space, the multi media studios and the garden before settling down for the meeting in Future Leap’s event space. Come check out the Clifton Hub if you haven’t already. Not only can you sign up for a free tour and trial day, Future Leap Network members and co-workers are entitled to 20% off meeting rooms and day passes.

Part 2 of the Festival of Sustainable Business will be followed in quick succession by Part 3. We are thrilled that over 800 people have registered to attend our free exhibition at the Paintworks on 23rd June. Complete with over 50 exhibitors, a COP26 Traction on Action stage, a City Leap Networking Zone, outdoor Sustainable Transport Zones and Food Zones, this is an event not to be missed. Attendance is free and open to all, just register here. And don’t forget to bring your Driving Licence if you want to test drive the vehicles.

Looking a little further down the line, next month will see Future Leap hold its annual celebration event, in which our members can enjoy an evening of music, networking and refreshments. Some of you may remember that this was postponed from December due to COVID-19 so we are really excited to update you on all our sustainability-related activities that have been underway over the last 12+months. Attendance is free to Future Leap Network members but please do register (whether a member or non-member) so we have an idea of numbers.

I hope to see you at one of our events soon.

Very best wishes,

Katherine
