Here at Seaweed Surf Shack, we’ve been developing this recipe over the last year, alongside delivering our seaweed & sustainability workshops. We wanted everyone to be able to enjoy the nutritional benefits and unique taste of seaweed, in an easy to eat, packable snack!

Designed to fuel a surf, a climb, a hike or just a busy day out in the city, High Tide is filled with organic wholesome ingredients, as well as seaweed sourced from Câr-Y-Môr – one of Wales’s first restorative ocean farms.

Why seaweed you say? Seaweed grown in sustainable ocean farms takes up no land space, water or fertilisers to grow, takes up carbon as it grows, and support local marine wildlife. Seaweed also contains a load of vitamins and minerals, and fibres that support a healthy gut.

We’ve just launched a Crowdfunder for our bars – with plenty of seaweedy rewards up for grabs including workshop tickets, bars and seaweed t-shirts. Check it out!
