Fundraising (Events) & Communications Executive

Salary scale: £25,508 – £29,142 (FTE)
Hours of work: 28 hours per week
Reporting to: Fundraising & Communications Manager (and Head of Development)
Responsible for: Event interns and volunteers
Location: Central Bristol office, with flexible home working approach

The Fundraising (Events) & Communications Executive is a new role at Frank Water, that will work across both the charity and social enterprise (CIC) to maximise income from events and festivals, and support the delivery of our integrated communications strategy.

The ideal candidate will have experience in event management and communications. You will be highly organised and an excellent communicator, having a gift for quickly building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You are self-motivated, tenacious, and solutions focused. You will have experience of coordinating all areas of event delivery to ensure they run smoothly and to budget.

You have a good understanding of fundraising or revenue generation, with the ability to implement strategies that maximise income for the charity and CIC. You are highly personable with the skill to manage and motivate volunteers, as well as support event participants in fundraising for Frank Water.

You will have proven communications skills, with strong attention to detail and creative flair for writing copy and developing marketing strategies. It is essential you’re passionate about bringing safe water to communities for generations to come and you will be keen to develop an understanding of all aspects of our work. You are able to travel throughout the UK when required to attend events and festivals.
