The Green Register – An Essential Guide to Assessing Carbon in Design: RICS Whole Life Carbon Standard 2023: 2nd Edition
27th February | 9:00-11:30 | Online
Whole life carbon assessment (WCLA) is becoming an increasingly important way of assessing the built environment to include both embodied and operational carbon.
Greater London is leading the way with mandatory whole life carbon assessments now part of local planning requirements for some projects. Over time, it is likely that WLCA will become a formal part of national building regulations.
Join us for this new 2.5 hour session providing a digestible update on RICS Whole Life Carbon Standard 2023 (2nd Edition) which is set to become the world-leading standard for consistent and accurate carbon measurement in the built environment.
Speakers and authors Simon Sturgis of Targeting Zero, Lee Leston-Jones of Cundall, Dr Qian Li of Turner & Townsend, Paul Astle of Ramboll and Clara Bagenal George of Introba will take you through the thinking and content of the 2nd Edition.
Their talks will be followed by a panel Q&A session with all questions welcome.
