Organisation: Bristol City Centre BID and Redcliffe & Temple BID (Destination Bristol T/A Visit West) 

Contract type: 37 hours 

Reporting to: Marketing Manager 

Location: Office in central Bristol (with hybrid working between office and home) 

THE ROLE 

Our new Marketing Assistant will be a creative marketing professional who is passionate about making a difference in our business community.  You will support the team with all marketing activity in line with the strategy to raise awareness of the BID, its services, and the benefits it offers to businesses and the community.

              WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

                 

                  • Excellent IT skills 

                   

                    • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

                     

                      • The ability to forge strong working relationships 

                       

                        • Knowledge and understanding of marketing channels and strategies 

                         

                          • Some experience of posting on social media as a brand 

                           

                            • Some experience of creative tools (e.g. Canva, Photoshop) 

                             

                              • Attention to detail 

                               

                                • Creative skills to contribute to new and innovative ideas 

                                 

                                  • Marketing qualification preferred 

                                   

                                    • Ability to work as a team 

                                     

                                      • Be professional, friendly, and resilient 

                                       

                                        • Have a passion for making Bristol a great place to work, live, visit, and socialise
