Outside of work, he is an experienced scuba diver, amateur wine afficionado and loves to travel.Â
Simon Forsyth
Senior Environmental Consultant
Simon stumbled into environmental management in 1989 by offering to look after a paper-recycling bin. After that, things rather ran away with themselves.Â
He helped set up the Green Teams at Hewlett Packard in Bristol, ran them for five years, then became HP Ltd’s full-time environmental specialist. He left in 2000 to run a small consultancy, went on to run the Econet in-work training project, helped deliver the southwest-wide Envision programme, established a number of Resource Efficiency Clubs for small businesses, trained a lot of Trading Estates, and now focuses on the business linkages between cost-intensity, carbon-intensity, and becoming more profitable.Â
To condense all this into something usable, he’s produced carbon calculating software – the dataCollator.Â
Technically he’s a neuroscientist, with a degree and PhD in neurobiology, but that was a long time ago… Â
Tyler Leyland-Jones
Consultant
Tyler holds a BSc in Environmental Science from Bath Spa University. She is passionate about understanding the causes and consequences of planetary climate change.  After completing a module in Sustainable Business, it became clear to her that real change was going to result from businesses operating consciously and sustainably.
Tyler plays chocalho in a Brazilian Samba Band and is looking forward to playing at festivals this summer.
Ammar Jamali
Net Zero Consultant
Ammar worked in Oil and Gas for 4 years which made him realise the impact of carbon intensive energy on the environment. He then took the leap towards sustainability by pursuing an MSc in Renewable Energy from Newcastle University.
During his MSc, Ammar developed data analysis skills required to conduct energy audits, estimate carbon footprints, and undertake energy efficiency assessments. He is an entrepreneur at heart who believes in the importance of customer relations and has an extensive experience in engaging with B2B and B2C clients.
Outside of work, Ammar enjoys swimming, gardening, and chasing sunsets.

She currently helps businesses on their sustainability journey by translating each client’s unique requirements into a series of actionable points and ensuring compliance in day-to-day operations.Â
