They empower young people from ethnically diverse and underrepresented communities to pursue their career ambitions through our Youth Empowerment Programmes. They support 

employers to diversify their workforce and build inclusive work environments through their Recruitment and Inclusion Services. Babbasa’s #OurCity2030 vision is to support at least one person from each low-income household in Bristol, starting with the inner-city, to secure a median salary job by 2030. 
 

In November 2022, Babbasa and the One City office will launch #OurCity2030, a bold and positive target to support at least one person from each low-income household in Bristol, starting with the inner-city, to secure a median salary by 2030. This vision aims to catalyse systemic change, inspiring both citizens and businesses to get involved in pursuit of a fairer future for young people and was included as a goal in the third iteration of Bristol’s One City Plan. #OurCity2030 provides Bristol with a unique convening platform to work directly with businesses, community partners, education providers, funders and policymakers to help break the entrenched cycle of poverty and deprivation and help even more underrepresented young people realise their career ambitions. Their aim is to replicate this social mobility model for other cities nationally and internationally.
