We will kick off the event with an overview of the latest IPCC report. Leading the discussion will be Daniela Schmidt, a Professor from the University of Bristol and the Cabot Institute. With her experience in coordinating the IPCC assessment on Impacts, Adaptation, and Vulnerability in Europe, Daniela will provide crucial insights into the current climate landscape, setting the stage for the discussions to follow.
Following this, Will Powell (Commercial Director at Future Shift) will delve into the role of B Corp accreditation as a powerful tool in sustainability efforts. Offering valuable insights and communication tips, Will shall explore how businesses can leverage this accreditation to align their operations with environmental and social responsibility goals.
Future Leap will also discuss the imperative for businesses to transition to net zero with practical guidance and actionable strategies.
This event is free to Future Leap members and coworkers, and open to everyone. Attendance includes sustainably sourced breakfast and refreshments.
