This free lunchtime webinar in the Rest & Digest series is a chance to relax & learn, optimising your impact AND wellbeing

Modern life tends to upset the balance between our ‘fight or flight’ system and our ‘rest and digest’ system. Whether we realise it or not, when we are in ‘fight or flight’ it affects us: the way we interpret things, our behaviour, our ability to prioritise, creatively solve problems – and our ability to extract energy and nourishment from our food.

These free lunchtime webinars are held on the second Tuesday of every month. They start with an introduction to ‘rest & digest’ and ‘fight or flight’, followed by a brief guided relaxation to help you dial down ‘fight or flight’ and dial up ‘rest & digest’, and a chance to take a few minutes for mindful eating.

Then you can sit back, take it easy and eat the rest of your lunch, while I briefly guide you through info, inspo or techniques related to the session topic. The webinars are low key, relaxing, informative, empowering, maybe even life-changing!

The topic this month is ‘Stress Management: The lenses we look through’

Our busy brains are constantly filtering, prioritising, categorising. This can be very useful to prevent overwhelm and make our brains more efficient – especially these days when we have constant stimulation and input to sort through. But our clever brains don’t always process things in the way that helps us – none of us are perfect! In this topic we bring some of that processing to conscious awareness so that we can be more intentional or mindful about the lenses we look through, in a way that supports our wellbeing, our current goals, and of course managing stress.

This is a free session but please register in advance for joining information.

Bring an item of food or other object (ideally a natural object) if you want to take part in 2-3 minutes of mindful sensory awareness or mindful eating.

I am an ICF accredited personal and professional coach with a Psychology MSc, certified in both Transformational coaching as well as Physical Intelligence coaching. I offer 1:1 coaching and I am also a certified group coach, and I have a background in community engagement, and facilitating that engagement using innovative, fun and accessible approaches.
