Future Leap Solar Panels – Suited to Commercial, Industrial and Agricultural Properties
Here at Future Leap, we can direct you towards flexible solar panel units, perfectly suited to commercial and agricultural structures.
Solar power provides an affordable and efficient investment, taking full advantage of the energy supplied by the sun, helping you to reduce your impact on the environment.
This sustainable source of energy converts sunlight into eco-friendly electricity, helping to make your business more sustainable and profitable. Switching to renewable energies can reduce your carbon footprint, whilst also contributing to the decarbonisation of the UK as a whole.
Despite the sometimes grey and dreary weather in the UK, solar panels rely on daylight rather than sunshine, generating power even when the weather is cloudy. Solar energy provides sustainable electricity all year round. This makes solar power an excellent alternative to mains electricity.
How do Solar Panels work?
Solar panels, or photovoltaic (PV) systems, convert the sun’s energy into electricity. They are made up of photovoltaic cells wedged between semi-conductive materials, generally silicone. An electric field is created when each layer is hit by photons in sunlight, this takes place because the layers hold different electronic properties which energise when exposed to these photons. Known as the photoelectric effect, this creates the current required to generate electricity.
The current of electricity generated from the solar panels then passes through an inverter, converting into an alternating current. This energy can then be used within the home, business or fed back into the National Grid.
What are the advantages of switching to Solar?
- Using free energy provided by the sun helps to cut your electricity bills
- Solar power helps to reduce your carbon footprint
- Solar panels are easy to install
- Once installed, solar panels are very low maintenance
