Adapting and Moving Forwards Into an Eco-Friendly Spring

Dear Colleagues

I hope all is well with you and your teams. This month has been another busy one for us with our weekly events covering Bristol’s Carbon Neutrality Journey, Making Sustainability Accessible, Neuroscience and Marketing in the Green Tech Industry, Adaption for a Changing Climate and Tech Innovations for a Sustainable Future. If you missed any of these, do not despair as they are all available on demand.

In other news, I thought I would take this opportunity to let you know that my role within the organisation is changing. I am excited to be taking on the role of Future Leap’s Director of Partnerships, where I will be primarily focusing on ensuring sustainability collaborations within our business community. Our amazing Hub team, Deepika and Fenna, will be taking on some of my former responsibilities, continuing our excellent membership service integrated with Future Leap’s activities.

This brings me on to a fond farewell to Tatum, our Memberships and Communications Manager. We are really happy to see her move into a new role in sustainability consultancy with FEN Network members, Anthesis. Staying in the Bristol sustainability community means we still get to connect with Tatum, but we will miss her daily energy and enthusiasm. A huge thank you to Tatum for all her hard work, ensuring the Future Economy Network’s excellent reputation and profile, we will miss you greatly.

As such, we are recruiting for a Business Community Coordinator to join the team. If interested in the role, please take a look at the Job Description. Closing date is 10am 1st March 2021. We look forward to welcoming someone to the team!

Best wishes to you all.
