Our Sustainability Community, The Future Leap Network

Let’s first define the word community

A community is a group of people who unite over a shared set of values. They group together to discuss their visions, share stories and reflections, and support one another in achieving their goals. Communities ensure that they value every individual who unites around their shared purpose and vision.

Now, let’s define sustainability.

There’s a famous Iroquois philosophy which, for centuries, has imparted the knowledge, understanding and wisdom, that every decision made today should be considerate of the implications on the seven generations yet to come. This ancient philosophy speaks to the root of the meaning behind the term ‘sustainability’.

Finally, let’s marry the two together.

A community who unites together around the shared desire to ensure that the next generation, and the one after that, and the one after that, and the one after that, and the one after that…reap the benefits of the actions that are taken today; those actions that nourish and regenerate the world, and support the flourishing of life so that those generations also have the opportunity to experience the beauty of existence.

This marriage of terminologies, a sustainability community, is the primary definition of Future Leap.

Imagine Future Leap as the bark of the tree, and the organisations who make up the foundations of the community are the branches, our leaves and our mycelium network. The intention of this bark is to create a pillar of support to which all of its network can rely on. Future Leap was created to help businesses thrive, to prosper, and to create a community that supports one another to invest wholeheartedly in addressing some of our most complex problems.

Joining this kind of network instantly sets the intention of moving towards a better, more just and more beautiful world. Our community is continuously growing and we will support you in every way we can to deliver your passion to sustain this beautiful Earth, for the benefit of many generations yet to come.
