Lighthouse-Sustainability celebrate their second birthday

This article was written by Lighthouse Sustainability.

Can you believe Lighthouse Sustainability is 2? As our business continues to grow, we are excited to reflect on our achievements – it’s good to do that right?

Being a small company means that we are a tight group. We work closely and personally with our clients and partners. Heading up Lighthouse Sustainability is our Founder Emma Burlow, supported by Jo Jones, who specialises in partnerships and impact, and coordinates and supports our team of associate trainers. New to the team within PR, Comms, and marketing are m Varney-Long, and our most recent crew member is our admin whizz Rose-Anne Lapuz. Our partnerships have been invaluable in the growth of our business, particularly that of our Carbon Literacy training courses, accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project.

Our strength and impact definitely come from our network which continues to grow. What are our goals? It really is simple; every business needs to reduce its impact on the planet. Changing business strategy is key, but changing the mindset of the workforce is essential to make things happen. We mobilise this change by providing training and solutions for businesses. At the centre of everything we do is change-making by training the next generation of changemakers in Carbon Literacy and Circular Economy, we enable individuals and organisations in that change.

In 2023, we will continue to grow our range of courses, and network of trainers and aim to train 1000 employees. A huge task? Well – we have made a good start. Join us in celebrating our second birthday by sharing ideas of how you create change. Contact us to find out how your organisation can access training and strategic support as we enter our third year.
