“C.H.E.E.S.E.? What does that have to do with saving energy?” I hear you say! – C.H.E.ES.E. is a Community Interest Company (CIC) set up to provide innovative, indoor, thermal imaging surveys for residential properties in and around Bristol, hence: Cold Homes Energy Efficiency Survey Experts – or C.H.E.E.S.E. for short!

Going room to room, our surveyors help householders identify where their homes are losing heat, by making visible, cold spots and draughts within the fabric of the building. Our customers tell us that understanding how their home works, in terms of energy efficiency, and learning how they can make their home more energy efficient with simple, cost effective draught proofing measures is a great way to reduce their bills and carbon footprint, as well as assist with negotiating with contractors when considering more costly retrofitting options, such as wall insulation, new windows and doors, heat pumps or solar panels. And best of all, at the end of our survey, you receive a copy of all of the videos and photos taken during your survey.
