Future Leap member Stylemongers Of Bristol opens new interior design studio-shop on Gloucester Road

Stylemongers Of Bristol has opened a brand new interior design studio, shop and workshop space all under one roof on Bristol’s infamous independent high street, Gloucester Road.

Founded by award-winning interior designer Zoë Hewett, also seen on rural retreat makeover BBC show ‘My Unique B&B’, the new Stylemongers Of Bristol shop showcases luxury fabrics, wallpapers, lighting, furniture and original art, with an emphasis on the local, sustainable and artisanal. The front of the store is dedicated to retail and the studio’s interior design services, and the space at the rear is where interior design workshop experiences will be held.

“The shop space allows me to combine all my offers in one place which is much more convenient for me but more importantly it’ll add value to the experience for anyone attending my workshops as they can sep into an authentic creative environment. I’m thrilled to be part of this legendary high street, and with this new chapter in my business I’m on a mission to prove that sustainable interior design doesn’t have to mean compromising on style. I’ve searched around to find sustainably made homeware products from B-Corp certified brands, and candles made from British stearin wax rather than soy imported from the other side of the world, for example. There are no synthetic fragrances or toxic paints in the shop, and the velvet cushions are cotton-only, because we need to stop making everything from plastic fibres. Even recycled polyester is processed with carcinogenic, hormone-disrupting toxins, so you won’t find those kinds of textiles for sale in my shop.”
