Bristol City Leap Launch – Community Roadshow Event in St Pauls

Join us for the Bristol City Leap Roadshow! A free community event open to all, including sustainable catering and relaxed networking.
Anyone can attend this event. We welcome everyone and you do not need to have a specific agenda or connection to City Leap to come along. It is open to all and we encourage you to invite your local community too. Entry is free, and includes catering and refreshments.
Bristol City Leap is a world first, game-changing approach towards decarbonisation at city-scale, tackling the climate emergency. Bristol City Leap is a twenty-year joint venture between Bristol City Council, Ameresco and Vattenfall Heat UK which will enable the delivery of over £1 billion of investment into Bristol’s energy system.
Why should you join the event?
Bristol City Leap puts Bristol’s community groups at its very heart – the city cannot decarbonise without your support. That is why we have set aside a Community Development Fund to support decarbonisation projects that meet the needs of Bristolians. Groups across the city will be encouraged to bid for this funding.
How can you help Bristol City Leap?
We can’t do this alone, and we need your support to spread the word about this ambitious but essential project. Beyond funding for community energy projects, Bristol City Leap is providing support to improve energy efficiency for homes, businesses, and public buildings, in turn creating up to 1,000 local jobs. We are at the start of a green revolution in Bristol and we’re counting on you to help shout about the change.
