Award Categories
Biodiversity (sponsored by lawlight solicitors)
Ecosystems and habitats are hugely important. The loss of biodiversity affects our lives in many ways, from the insects that pollinate our food to the green spaces that enhance our health and wellbeing. We would love to hear from you if your organisation has improved biodiversity, enhanced ecosystems, or revived habitats. Whether this has happened on-site or external to where you are based, we want to hear from you and celebrate your achievements.
Social Sustainability (sponsored by TLT LLP)
“Social sustainability is about identifying and managing business impacts, both positive and negative, on people. The quality of a company’s relationships and engagement with its stakeholders is critical. Directly or indirectly, companies affect what happens to employees, workers in the value chain, customers, and local communities, and it is important to manage impacts proactively”. (UN Global Compact)
Innovation in Low Carbon Tech (sponsored by EQUANS)
The installation of low-carbon technology is crucial in our transition to net zero. We are looking for innovative changes in how you work, putting low-carbon solutions at the forefront of productivity – these could be simple but highly effective measures or hi-tech solutions. It is the impact of the change and how it positively affects your business and the environment that we are looking for.
Circular Economy and Waste (sponsored by Albert Goodman)
“The circular economy is based on three principles, driven by design: 1) Eliminate waste and pollution 2) Circulate products and materials (at their highest value) 3) Regenerate nature. A circular economy decouples economic activity from the consumption of finite resources. It is a resilient system that is good for business, people, and the environment”. (Ellen MacArthur Foundation)
Communicating the Climate and Ecological Emergency (sponsored by Rin Hamburgh & Co)
“Saving our planet is now a communications challenge”. (Sir David Attenborough). We would love to hear from you if your organisation has effectively used your communications expertise to create impactful change for people and the planet.
