Dear Readers 

We hope this newsletter finds you well. August at Future Leap was anticipated to be a quieter period, but this year has been quite the opposite! We are thrilled to share some exciting updates and achievements from the past month. 

Team Expansion

Our team has grown as we welcomed new members aboard! George has joined us as our Financial Administrator and bookkeeper, Georgia will be joining our events and marketing teams at the end of the month, Ammar will soon be joining us as a Net Zero Consultant and we have welcomed Sally as our Clifton Co-Working and Media Studios Account Manager. 

With the growth of the team, there have also been some internal promotions, with Iris becoming our Marketing Manager and Deeps stepping up as our Bristol Spaces Manager, ensuring oversight of both business hubs. Huge congrats to you all! 

Continued Events Programme 

Despite the summer holidays, our Events team have been busy organising the delivery of a free Organisational Sustainability course in partnership with YTKO. This is a great opportunity to better understand sustainability from a business context and includes site visits, expertise of our carbon consultants and tailored behaviour change and communications modules. 

Registration is now open for the October cohort so head along to the YTKO website if this sounds of interest.   

Celebrating Wins

We’re proud to announce that our consultancy and finance teams have secured some remarkable victories this month. Our consultancy team have started working with several new businesses and are set to assist SMEs within the North Somerset region with their net zero journeys. 

Meanwhile, Future Leap Finance have secured a £10M Green Loan Scheme which will have a huge impact on the journey to Net Zero for Bristol businesses. Get in touch if this is of interest.
