As we approach the end of the year and with COP28 having just concluded, it feels timely to reflect on our collective efforts toward sustainability. Despite some progress made at COP28, the urgency for swifter action is evident. As a business community, it becomes increasingly apparent that we need to do all we can to accelerate towards a green and just economy. At Future Leap, we’re committed to accelerating change, and our upcoming Festival of Sustainable Business 2024 is a testament to this commitment.
The Festival, spanning three dates throughout the year with an anticipated 1500 attendees, is set to be an invaluable opportunity for learning, networking, and collaboration. Highlights from Last Month:
We facilitated three wonderful events where we welcomed expert speakers in sustainability, SEO, AI and communications… Many thanks to Forest Green Rovers, Admire PR, UK Digital Marketing, Shake and Speare, The Discourse, Rin Hamburgh and Co. and others for their support and expertise.
Our Events Management Team delivered the Bristol City Leap Supply Chain event where we welcomed over 110 delegates from the building trades to better understand decarbonisation plans for the city and how they could play a pivotal role
We recorded our second podcast, where we discussed ‘A Just Transition’ and shared insights on carbon reduction, community involvement, and the Bright Green Future programme.
We completed the 8-week organisational sustainability course, delivered in partnership with YTKO.
And I won a Speaker Award (2nd runner up) from Women in Business.
